The Good the bad and the Ugly

The Good the Bad and the Ugly

Takumi Hashimoto

The UGLY Cars

The First Ugly car that should be destroy is DAIHATU TANTO.
This car looks so ugly and I don`t like most DAIHATU cars.
DAIHATU is not really common in the world even this car`s home country Japan.
This car is so weak as well, This car at least for maybe 1year maximum.
When you own this car you will see some rusty metal body kit and rusty parts.
I`m sure this car will not be famous for ever and I hope it not going to be famous.

The Second Ugly car that should be destroy is Honda CR-X.
I owned Honda CR-X 1988 for 2months and it all broken and gone in two months.
The problem was Gear box and Radiator also something wrong with the engine.
After I stop driving that car I took off all the parts from CR-X, then I saw the CB joint was terribly dirty and damaged also some air hose kit was connected to the engine but I guess it did not make any help. Also Coolant was wringing to the flat and oil was terribly bad.CR-X body is so weak, actually most Honda cars are weak. So when you crash you may not survive.Especially CR-X body was just the plastic that I felt when I touched it.I bought this ugly piece of shit for $4200 I know I was stupid and start driving this car on that day and burn out the engine on same day that I bought it.THIS IS PIECE OF SHITTT

The Bad Cars
The first bad car that I think is Subaru Impreza.
I guess this car is most popular car in New Zealand but I think this car is most hardest car to fix the problem. Because the engine parts is really complicated.
Also easy to break everywhere the problem could be anything on this car.
But these car is cheap.

The Second bad car that I think is Honda Civic.
Only the problem is weak body, This car good at saving gas and stuff so it all good.
But weak body can kill you when you crash so I wanted this car made by strong metal.
Only the good car in Honda is NSX and S2000.

The Good Cars

The First Good Car that I think is Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren.
It's a super car, nothing wrong with it.The SLR sports a supercharged, all-aluminium, SOHC V8 engine.Maximum power is 617HP, 6500rpm.Transmission are 5-speed automatic transmission with 3 manual modes. For durability Mercedes selected a 5-speed transmission rather than their 7-speed gearbox which was more complex and used more parts.

The Second Good Car that I think is Aston Martin one 77.
Aston Martin Lagonda Limited is a British manufacturer of luxury sport car.
Super car and looks nice so I like it.

  1. The daihatu tanto is a disgusting looking car and im sure only appeals to a very certain type of person, id never buy one.

The honda crx is legendary for its unsafeness, they are really as bad as it gets for car safety and its quite suprising coming from a big company like Honda.

The subaru impreza is a good cheap way to go fast, but it is very complicated and expensive to fix, but they are still quite popular here.

The Honda civic is a good cheap run around, reliable too, but they are very unsafe, it seems like Honda was too focussed on reliability and performance back in the 80's and 90's and completely forgot about safety!

The SLR is one hell of a best and bred like no other, I think its quite a good supercar but still very complicated, but I can appreciate the work put into it.

The one-77 looks amazing and is really fast but it is a limited edition and its not really that practical, plus servicing must be super expensive!

  2. This is a really well thought-out presentation. I like that you have sensible, solid reasoning for why you like or dislike each car that you chose, and I agree with each of your choices (even the Mercedes McLaren, even though I'm not too fond of Mercedes). Your arguments are very convincing. Maybe a bit more reasoning as to why you like the Aston Martin? I have to agree that it's a very attractive car, but what are some other good points about it? Power, fuel efficiency etc?

I also really hate that Daihatsu. It's like a lunchbox on miniature wheels. Also, because it's a hybrid, its fuel efficiency is probably terrible and its power even worse.

I've never given much thought to the CR-X but from the sound of it you really know what you're talking about, having owned one yourself, and I'm inclined to believe you when you say it's a piece of shit. It certainly doesn't look like a very reliable car.

I also agree with the Impreza. Subaru Boxer engines are very cumbersome to work with, and this particular model of car is far too popular in NZ - you seem to see one around every corner.

Fair reasoning for not liking the Civic. Having an efficient car is all well and good but it's not much use if it's guaranteed to kill you in a crash.

I like both the cars you chose as your good cars but I think it could be more helpful if you were to add more input as to why you like them. Still, they're both attractive, powerful cars, and very good choices.
